Ride Proclamation!

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Muncho Lake to Toad River

I am in Toad River at the present time. It is raining today and

I had to listen to the leading of the Holy Spirit. If I would have disobeyed, I would now be caught in the rain trying to make it up the Rocky Mountains range of Canada. Thirty miles to the Summit.

After leaving Muncho Lake two days ago, I stopped my bike while going down hill and and felt to check for info concerning the distance to the next campgrounds. There were structures on each side of the road. The one on the left appeared vacant, and I heard dogs barking from the left side. I went to the left, and once I entered  the property an elderly lady, slightly bent over came towards me.  As I came closer to the first small house on the property, an elderly man was sitting looking out the window.

The lady pointed to the house and we walked upon the porch, and the man at the window motioned for me to come in. The room I entered was the kitchen, dinning room, and living room all in one. The place was quaint.

She pointed to the man’s legs, they were swollen with dark areas over them. I knelt down and laid hands on his legs and prayed. After I prayed, the lady began pointing and speaking, but I could only make out the word bear. I begin to pray within, asking the Lord to guide me by the Holy Spirit.

I sat and waited, thinking someone should be coming home soon, like a son or grandson. The elderly lady left and returned back to the area  of the property she was working on when I came up, but after about a half hour she returned to the front of the house and saw me sitting on the porch. She gave me such a warm caring smile, turned and went back to her business; what ever that was.

After about an hour, a pickup truck pulling a trailer came onto the  property. The man and his family, along with the younger sister of the three elderly persons living on the land. The third lady I didn’t know was on the site.

The sister (Louise) could speak english, and she told me later that her brother and sister only spoke the language Beaver. I did not know that such a language existed. Louise also informed me that Walter was the brothers name and Rose the first one I met and Maggie, deft since birth the sister I didn’t know was there.

Louise told me later that Rose said she had been praying for some one to come, after the bear had come to the house and she had thrown a piece of wood at the bear, and  Walter shot at it . She said that Rose was about to give up that her prayers would be answered, then  you showed up. Rose said, “I am glad my prayer was answered”. I was glad to hear that, because I remembered how  much I talk to the Lord about  teaching  me to listen and obey His voice.

So much happened that evening and the next day (Sunday) that I stayed over. I could be writing more than I have. Maybe I will have the opportunity to share more  later.

Two days ago was  my worst day of cycling.  The  previous day I visited the Liard Hot Springs, and truely enjoyed the affects the hot water had on my body. I felt that must have been why I was feeling so wiped out, and that was the day I entered the Rocky Mountain Range. Boy, I prayed a lot. I quoted many promises of God back to God for His help.

“I will never leave you or forsake you…”, stayed on my screen of consciousness, along with, “My yoke is easy and My burdens are light…”. Many other scriptures came to mind, so the Lord and I talked all day and most of the night. When I look back on that day, I must say it was a very good day.

Only My God can make all things work together for my good. Praise and honor to the Lord of  lords, my Lord and savior.

God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son….”, stayed on my mind most of my awake time last night. Why would God do His absolute best to save man from eternal damnation, (hell, and the lake of fire) by giving His only Son.

I was given a book by Ted, a first nation person here in Canada, when I visited his home at Squange Lake, Yukon Terr. The name of the book is:’ A DIVINE REVELATION OF HELL,  Time Is Running Out’, by Mary K. Baxter.

When I read about  three/fourths  of the book I had a glimpse of why God gave his best to keep man out of hell.  There is a terrible price (hell) for rejecting God’s gift.

Thank You Father God for Your love for this world, and Jesus paying for our sins.  I am set free  from hell by receiving Your Son (Jesus) as my Lord and Savior.  I pray for the world to repent and call on the name of Jesus.

The Holy Spirit Is Here.

It has been a few days since I have blogged, and so much has taken place in the last few days. I will not try and recall all the animals I’ve seen on the road.

Two nights ago I camped out in Contact Creek. I was talking to my wife on the telephone when a bear came on the property-Richard & Dennie Hair are the owners. They allowed me to set up my tent on to their property, and the bear was near where I was set-up. I was giving Evelyn a play by play of the activities. She heard Dennie say to her husband, ‘ scare the bear off ‘, and then she heard two loud shots over the phone while talkingto me. My wife was concerned  because of what she was hearing but could not see. I attempted to put her mind at ease. She would have to tell you if I did or not.

In Fireside I had a gentleman to meet, Craig was his name and his wife was deceased now for six weeks. He was still grieving, and the Lord use me to minister to him. Another Pastor and his wife stopped by from Fort Nelson, and we all had good fellowship and prayer. I was given an invitation to visit his church when I reach their area.

Today is 7/7/10, and I have been on this trek for one month today. There is a nature hot spring 30 mils down the hwy, and I must stop and heal my whole self.

This area of British Columbia is where one see’s Bison herds, ( prairie thunder) on the hwy, bear on the side of the road, and moose.

Well, I must go for now. I am staying close to Jesus to make this cycling trek from Fairbanks, AK  to the Florida keys.

Leaving Watson Lake, Yukon Terr.

Posted by: | Comments (2)

I have enjoyed my stay in this town. I have been treated well, and couldn’t have asked for better. I received some much needed rest by honoring the Lords day. My host here in Watson Lake has beenPastor John and Betty Lasante, of the Watson Lake Community Gospel Chapel, Yukon Terr.

The Sunday service was blessed, solid spiritual food was presented in Jesus holy name. Ex. 40:33-38 was where the text came from. Praise God.

Watson Lake (pop. approx.950). Watson Lake is known for the signpost collection begun by a homesick soldier during construction of the Alaska Hwy. The collection now includes more than 50,000 signs.

Well, I must get started for today. I will leave the Yukon Terr. and enter British Columbia Province.

We must continue praying for Spiritual Awakening on this Planet.
