I am preparing to depart from Grande Prairie this morning. Today’s date, 8/02/2010, and I will soon have been on the road/hwy cycling for two months. Nothing can compare with me stepping out in faith and obeying the call of God on my life.

The closer walk with the Lord has come because  of  continued communication between He and I while cycling daily.  Having to rely on the Lord for everything has caused me to dependon Him totally. Depending on Christ more, has been the best thing  I could have ever done apart from recieve Him as Lord and Savior.

Well Lord we go back on the Hwy today. I am ready, and I will, “In everything  give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you (me).” 1st Thessalonians 5:18

Yesterday was the last day of July and I entered Grande Prairie, looking to make some connection with a church or find a campground. Nothing was working for me, the local RV park did not take tents and hotel accommodations were pricey. I was talking to the Lord concerning what I should do.

After reflecting on the situation for awhile, I decided to cycle out of town. When I reached what I felt could have been the last restaurant before leaving the town, I stopped. The Spirit of the Lord was speaking, and I wanted the divine will of  God for my delima.  At  the restaurant a gentleman name Paul was sitting in his car. I asked  him about the next campground going east  where I could stop. The closest was several kilometers away, so I went into the restaurant and ordered.

Steve and I talked while viewing the television and I ate. Paul told the waitress he was paying for my order, and would I pray for him and other friends o f  his. I mounted my bike and started praying for Steve and friends,  I realized I was cycling back  into the town.

I cycled for over two hours, stopping twice before meeting a gentleman that I had seen earlier on a park bench down town.  As we talked briefly he told me about  the Rotary House.  With help I located the Rotary House,  the man who answered the call for directions was waiting out front with other staff on a break. They welcomed me and secured me with excellent accommodations.  I knew I was in the will of God. That’s something you just know, by the Holy Spirit. Paul, Debbie, and Ruth were three of the staff on duty when I arrived. I must say, they were very professional and caring, not only to me, but was the same with all the clients they served. Paul did his work as though Christ had personally given him the orders. I was blessed just being with them.

I went to the Victory Church On The Rock today, as an invitation from Paul. I was called up by Paul Juss, Senior Pastor, to share for two minutes.

He joked about giving the mike to another Pastor. After sharing I was asked to pray for the church and the community. The service and the message was anointed. The Spirit of the Lord was present.

The congregation sowed seed into The Holy Spirit Is Here trek. Pastor Kebede Dibaba and his family,who fellow- shipped with me on the hwy yesterday were also visiting the church this morning. We fellow- shipped all over again.

Blessings to all my family and friends, (old & new) I carry you in my heart as I continue the  trek.  “The Holy Spirit is Here”

Today is July 30th, 2010. I am sitting at a picnic bench in a campgrounds  in Beaver lodge Alberta. This is the second time I have been able to get a Internet connection in a park.  I  am sure you can tell, I am pleased!!!

Today I crossed over the Provincial line, out of British Columbia into Alberta. That is a mile stone for me. It is a sign of completion and that feels good.

Last night before I set my tent up I was ministering to worker who was on duty,  for about thirty minutes.   This morning he returned stating, he felt lead to  plant seed  into my mission. Only the Lord can do that. The Lord has been drawing me closer to him. The dying  to self and living to Christ, is one of my hearts desires.

The sun is going down and it is getting cooler. I also need to get some sleep, because I am a  growing man not a growing boy. Tomorrow I will cycle into Grande Prairie, go to church on Sunday and cycle out on Monday morning.

Good night Evelyn my wife and princess. Thanks for being who you are,  just like you are. I truly am blessed.

Today is July 29, 2010,  I am sitting in the George Dawson Inn doing my Blogging for the day. I was dropped of by the Miller couple, after taking picture at the mile zero post in the middle of town.

Mile zero is where the Alaskan Hwy started. I was reminded by Brenda that I had now traveled one-forth of my total trek of 6000 miles, and celebration is in order. Gordon and Brenda Miller were my host while visiting here in the Dawson Creek area.

I had a great time on the farm where the Miller family lives. The farm was different from  the Hwy and the wildness, it was quiet and peaceful. I was thankful to God for the contrast, I was  informed that I am now entering the prairie and traveling will be faster by bicycle.

I was blessed to attend the Wednesday night Bible Study of  the Family Church, Foursquare Gospel Church of Canada.  Trevor and Elizabeth Birak are the Pastor’s. I had the opportunity to share my testimony. The group allowed the testimony to replace the bible study, God is good.

I leave the Province of British Columbia today and enter Alberta, Canada.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS HERE.

My breakfast this morning was eggs, hash browns, toast and jelly, orange juice, coffee, fresh fruit, and moose sausages. Now that is breakfast for a blessed man. Who? Me, Lowell White. I am sure you can tell I love moose meat. (Smiles from me).

The day was full. I began with the special breakfast, prepared by Judy my sister in Christ. Afterwards, David and I put my bicycle in his truck and drove to the down town area. We visited the bike  shop, talked about cycling awareness and interest, and left my bike to be serviced after approx. 1500 miles.

Next, David and I prayed while sitting in the truck before I entered  the Alaska Highway News establishment. Spoke with a receptionist, then news reporter, for later appointment. I left the news paper headquarters  and walked to City Hall. After speaking with the Mayor’s secretary and receiving an appointment  for 1:30 pm, I went across the street to a restaurant and waited.

I had a conversation with two ladies having lunch,  about the Lord and Kingdom principals. Soon after a reporter called and said he would meet me at the restaurant.

I was interviewed there,  pictures were taken both inside and outside the restaurant.   I left the area and walked slowly  back to the bike shop, talking to the Lord at times and; then Evelyn, my wife, the bike was serviced. Replaced rear cones, installed new chain and spoke in rear wheel,replaced rear tire,  and other adjustments. Cost,$194.60,  after paying the bill I was allowed to have my bike. I then cycled back to David and Judy’s home.

Other things happened, such as having dinner with the family that evening, going with David to a  home where a bike was being  advertised for sale, and talked to my lovely wife a few more times.  Well that’s about it. I will depart today at approx. 8:00 am, heading in the direction of  Dawson Creek, BC
