A stop in Morris, Manitoba
ByI departed Winnipeg, Manitoba yesterday, September 11, 20 10 around 9:30 am enroute to the US border. Leaving the hostel made me feel a little empty because I had spent a few days there with my lovely wife. She had come to Winnipeg to celebrate the success of me reaching the half way point of THE HOLY SPIRIT IS HERE trek. My wife returned to the Los Angeles area on Sept. 10th, flying out of the Winnipeg airport at 4:25pm. I have cycled over 3000 miles thus far and have approx. 3000 miles to go, in order to reach the Florida Keys. Cycling out of the city was a little challenging because the road I had to travel was partly being worked on, later I had a cross head wind to contend with. Once I began cycling it was necessary to become totally focused, that’s what treking on the highway’s demand.
I finally arrived in Morris around 5:00 pm, and observed the welcome sign that gave info on the various churches in town. I prayed again for the Lord to lead me, and continued to the center of town. I was given direction to the campgrounds where I secured a site and set- up my tent for the night. The church I saw on the sign, I felt lead to attend on Sunday was the Church of The Open Door.
Sleep was good and I got some much needed rest. Praise God. The Lord is so good.
Once I became fully awake this morning I broke camp, putting all my equipment on the bik for travel and cycled to the church. Everyone was warm and friendly as I entered the area. I felt at home, I was with the body of Christ. The service was a blessing and anointed. Joan van der Linde ministered this morning. Gavin & Joan van der Linde are the senior pastors the church.
I am at the van der Linde’s home blogging because my computer is being repaired. There is a celebration going on at this time for their daughter and I will stop blogging and participate in the activities, I will talk with you later.
Jesus loves you, and I am praying for His hand on your lives.
It was a real pleasure to meet you this morning at The Open Door. The Holy Spirit is certainly in you and you brought a sense of excitement we don’t often see. Lori and I are praying for you and will join you on your journey while we read your blog. God Bless You Lowell and may The Spirit contune to guide you in all you do.
Love,
Your Brother and Sister in Christ
It was so good to hear what you are doing for Jesus. When you stepped into the Open Door and started talking to me, I could see Jesus in you. Will be praying for you and all the best in the weeks to come.
Thank you Esther for your kindness and warm heart towards me, I feel in my heart that, is the way you greet everyone that the Lord allows to enter your space of influence. I pray God’s blessings on you and your family, in Jesus holy name.
