Sikanni River RV park To Pink Mountain
ByI think I remember a slow starting day yesterday, with many rolling hills to transverse. The day was warm and the insects were a pest. I Kept a cloth handy to swat them before they could bite. Once I reached the top of a hill then the wind would blow, and then relief, or the speed going down hill would carry me away from them. All in a days activity!
I sure was pleased to finally reach Sikanni River Campground and RV Park. NO matter how trying a day is leaning on Christ makes the difference. Learning to give thanks in all things, as the scripture reveals in 1st Thessalonians 5:18, allows me to rest in the Lord and draw closer to Him continuously. That is how I am able to make this trek, “Not by power nor by might, but by My Spirit ,said the Lord.”
Today is 7/22/2010 and I called my sister in Beaumont Texas to support me in getting in touch with my 50th class reunion activity which starts today. She was an asset ,and I did get in touch with the Managing Editor of the Beaumont Enterprise news paper.
Thanks Dorothy for the helping hand.
The gentleman I uploaded onto U-tube from Detroit was someone I met today who was a pleasant surprise. He pulled up in front of me on the side of the Alaskan Hwy, and waited until I was beside him, then expressed how pleased he was to meet me. We had a nice time standing there sharing the pleasures of meeting each other in British Columbia on the Alaskan Hwy. Readers can visit U-Tube and view the video.(Detroit Biker)
Thanks to Tony Como, Felton White, Mr. and Mrs Garrison, Oralyn, Stephen Fischer, and all the loved ones that have shown an interest in me doing Kingdom Business. I speak Phil.4:19 over you in Jesus name.
