Ride Proclamation!

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Visiting Winnipeg, Manitoba

Posted by: | Comments (1)

Today is Sept. 10,2010, I have arrived in Winnipeg, Manitoba on September 4th and Evelyn my wife arrived at the airport the next day.  I was taken to the airport to pick her up by David the pastor of an Anglican Church, I visited on the day I arrived in the city.  I was given directions to the church by a young lady at an A& W restaurant on Portage Ave.  I accepted the directions to the church located on Westminster Ave.

Saturday evening service was starting  in approximately  40 minutes.  Once I arrived I attended the service.  Food was served after the service and I was invited.  There was a time of fellowship and I shared my story while we ate.
One of the members offered to take me to my accommodations for the night.  The Canadian Hostelling, on Kennedy st.

down town.

On Sunday September 5, 2010 I was up early and cycling back to the Anglican Church for Sunday service which started at 10:30 am.  It was early enough for me to stop and have breakfast at a quaint bakery/restaurant  called Stella’s.  It was a delightful and pleasant.  Good food was served and I enjoyed every bite.

I attended the service at the Church at 10:30 am and returned to the hostel, where David, the pastor picked me up at about 3:00pm and we went to the airport to pick  up my wife.  The hostel was  where we enjoyed accommodations while visiting Winnipeg and sharing time together.

Evelyn and I toured the city by bus and had the opportunity to experience some excellent sites and places in Winnipeg.  We often stopped and reflected on God’s goodness, mercy, and love towards us, and gave Him thanks and praise.  The knowledge that, “apart from Him we can do nothing.”  We  accept as truth for our lives, it is the Word of God.

I will start cycling on 9-11-2010 from Winnipeg to the US border, which is 60 miles/ 100 kilometers.  I know I will miss the Canadian culture and way of life that I have been introduced to and fell in love with; but I must complete that which I know the Lord has  called me to do, that is, proclaim The Holy Spirit Is Here.

The Holy Spirit came at the day of Pentecost.  The Lord desired his body to be lead by the Spirit of  Truth.  Jesus spoke these words in John 16:13-15.  “However, when He, The Spirit of  Truth, has, come, He will guide you into all Truth; (we as Christians need guidance into all truth, don’t you think?)  For He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears  He will speak:  and He will tell you things to come….  All things the Father has are Mine.  Therefore I  said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you….”

We must learn to submit to the Holy Spirit to know the truth of the Father for our lives, if not we stumble around  in darkness trying to find the truth.  The Lord is saying, “The Holy Spirit is Here.”  I am only proclaiming it.  We must take heed.  Lowell Out.

Leaving Regina

Posted by: | Comments (0)

August 27, 2010 Left Campgrounds early and began cycling toward Winnipeg, which is in the Province of Manitoba, Canada.  This is the final Province I will have the privilege to visit.  The Lord Jesus has truly blessed me.  I remember three months ago and more I looked at the maps I received from AAA where the trek was mapped out according to my direction.  The names of the cities and towns were foreign to me, and almost seemed I was traveling to another planet.

Now I know these towns and cities personally.  Each one has become like home in a sense.  buy amoxil This has been quite a trip in every way.  I am sitting at a ice cream stand/restaurant amoxil buy cheap amoxil online drinking a raspberry milkshake and writing info to have blogged westernunion later.  I am in the town of Indian Head Saskatchewan apporximately 69 kilometers from Regina.

Leaving Regina

Posted by: | Comments (8)

I am leaving Regina Saskatchewan on August 26th.  Regina was easier to embrace than the metropolitan City of Saskatoon; because persons were more receptive of the message, “The Holy Spirit is Here”  I have not blogged in a few days because  my computer is on the blink.  All the jostling around while traveling over 2,700 miles probably caused something to dis-connect.  I will try to get it repaired once  I arrive  in Winnipeg, the next largest city.  I am looking forward to  blogging, on a daily basis.

The Lord is truly blessing as I travel ministering and proclaiming, The Holy Spirit is Here.

The Holy Spirit has been touching the hearts of believers  as I cycle, to walk along-side me with their prayers and support.  I am thankful to all the readers and followers on my blog, for having patience with me these last few days.

I am still pedaling strong.  A few times I have cycled 70 plus miles in a day, with the assistance of a strong tail wind:)  I am praying for all believers to desire a more intimate relationship with Jesus.  He has touched my spirit letting me know how much he enjoys me wanting to be in his presence.  The Holy Spirit has also ministered to me that the Lord Jesus longs for his children/believers to spend time with him; but we seem to be too busy.

I am encouraging believers to desire the Holy Spirit to lead them into all truth regarding, spending more time in the presence of the Lord Jesus.  I will blog again soon.  The Holy Spirit is Here.

North Battleford to Saskatoon

Posted by: | Comments (2)

I cycled  from North Battleford to Langham Saskatchewan which was over 100 kilometers and that equals to 60 plus miles.  I was given  the location of the RV Park by several people in route to the town.

The campground was full so the owner allowed me to camp on his property and  returned my registration fee.  He also invited me to the weekly pot-luck  that night.  After eating I introduced myself and  gave my testimony.  The atmosphere afterwards was one of blessing for me the RV park owners and members.

I left the camp the next morning in route to Saskatoon on Thursday the nineteenth 2010.  I arrived at the information center around 1pm, after receiving directions from the representative I cycled downtown and stopped by City Hall,  the mayor was not in.  I got information about a local hotel and secured a room for the night.  The young man on the desk was excited about what I was doing  and sowed seed into God’s Ministry, “The Holy Spirit is Here”  The next day Friday,  I located a restaurant that made Saskatoon Pie:)  the name of the restaurant was Fuddruckers.  I was told about Saskatoon Pie  by  a retired police officer from Saskatoon while cycling in Haines Junction.(which was a 1,000 miles in the past).

The mayor of Saskatoon called me on Friday and apologized that he was not able to meet with me.  He was gracious and wished me luck on the rest of my trek.  I cycled back to the hotel got a room for the night and prayed and talked with my wife about what I should do next and had a good nights sleep.  I only cycled 25 miles from Saskatoon  to Dundurn, while cycling  I had the opportunity to minister to some persons at a gas station.  Cycling out of a large city is always difficult because of not being allowed to cycle on the freeway.  I have to find parallel routes to cycle until the freeway becomes highway again.  I was happy to talk to the “Spirit Riders” ministry group at the Highland Church during their Orientation Meeting on Saturday.  It was exciting to me to know  they were continuing to carry the mission of the Spirit Riders which is to:  First establish a relationship with the Lord, love and pray for each other, learn the rules of the road and cycling safety and to have fun while doing it. My trek ended about 3pm in Dundurn where I secured campgrounds and retired for the day.  I will plan to go to church on Sunday.  Thank you for the prayers and support from everyone that is in contact with me on this trek.  Spirit Rider Out.

Arriving in Lloydminster

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Once I  arrived  in Lloydminster I proceeded to a Wal-Mart store to make  the phone  contacts that had been given to me. I called and the persons were leaving town the next day. We spoke briefly and I had to decide what I was going to do next after hanging up the phone.

It was evening and I was tired, so I found the nearest campground and secured myself  for the night. Earlier that morning it began to rain and my little tent began to leak,  that made for a interesting activity. I had to remember what the word of God says in 1st Thess. 5:18 “In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” So, I thanked God for Him being seen in me at this time of unexpected circumstances, and for his Holy Spirit that dwells in me,  who is the Comforter to lead me into all truth. I was truly thankful, and I still am today.

After securing my belongings I departed the campgrounds and went to the city hall of Lloydminster Alberta. I made an appointment to see the Mayor, then cycled to the news paper office. After being interviewed, the photographer wanted to take the pictures at the border markers. I cycled back to city hall for the photo shoot, because that is where the border markers are.

I feel, I should give some info on the city of Lloydminster. “Lloydminster, astride the Alberta-Saskatchewan border, holds city status in both provinces. Markers and restored buildings adjacent to Weaver Park tell the story of the Barr Colonists, who settled the area in 1903.”

After the photography completed taking the pictures, several persons in city hall recommended I visit the Lloydminster Gospel Fellowship Church. After meeting the mayor I went directly to the church. Once I met with Pastor Lyle Berg, we talked for approx. hour. I was given the opportunity to go to the bible camp with the young adults. I drove up with the youth pastor, and we had good fellowship

There  was anointed worship with the praise team, and the other young people at the camp that night. The next day was Saturday and we all had some time to enjoy being on the lake. I rode on the tube with another young man as they tested our ability to stay on the tube as we  were pulled over the waves created by the boat.

I gave my testimony that night at the camp, and ministered at the church the next day. (Sunday). After service I secured my belongings on bike and I cycled out of Lloydminster and Alberta  for the last time. I am now cycling in the province of Saskatchewan, and the next city is North Battleford Sask.

I thank my God many times a day for calling me to His service, and this mission. I am also thankful for the  spirit of obedience that I chose to receive.
