Milan, Tennessee
Posted by: | CommentsI arrived in Milan about 5:00 pm., yesterdayOctober 28, 2010, I cycled approx. 50 miles. the Hwy’s in this area are hilly,so on bike you get a good workout.
The trek so far through Tennessee has been a wonderful experience, and the hospitality exceptional. I am praying for the residents in the State of Tenn. that the Spirit of the Lord to be poured out on all and revival/spiritual awakening be the the result. Praise the Lord!!! Acts 2:17 reads, “In the last days. God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.” We as believers should all diligently seek the face of God concerning this scripture, and follow the Spirit of Truth that has been sent to lead us into all truth. We are to be doers of the word…. starting now, today.
Well I will blog you later.

Clinton, Kentucky’s Library
Posted by: | CommentsToday is Oct. 27 2010 and I am at the library in Clinton, Kentucky. This is a windy day and a challenge, but it is good for me, because I am having to work for the miles cycled.
I know to give thanks to the Lord in all things, because this is what the word says in 1st Thesslonias 5: 18, and I will to be, ‘a doer of the word and not a hearer only.’ (James 1:22)
I stopped in Arlington, Kentucky at the Bob’s service station/convenience store and was given a warm welcome. This welcome made me feel at home and that was special to me. Thanks to the special people at Bob’s.
I must say thanks to my brother in Christ, David McKinney for his expertise and friendship. THANKS DAVID!!!
I will touch three states today, Illinois,Kentucky, and Tenn. How about that?
I will blog you later.

Anna, Illinois
Posted by: | CommentsIt was a blessed day for me yesterday in Carbondale. I had Sunday service at the Calvary Campus Church. I was led there by the Holy Spirit after praying to be led to where the Lord would have me go to be blessed, and I surely was. Sunday was World Missions Sunday at the Calvary Church.
Several countries were represented in the service, with each group dressed in their native attire and singing in their native language. The congregation could sing along because the songs on the over-head were in both languages. I thought about how I was getting a glimpse of the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. How beautiful, colorful, and joyful it will be, above and beyond what can be imagined or thought. Today I will cycle out of Illinois and into Kentucky. How about that. Well I will keep my mind stayed on my Lord and Savior as I cycle from Anna, Illinois. I am the clay and the Lord God is the potter. Blog you later my friemds. ‘The Holy Spirit Is Here’.
Carbondale Library
Posted by: | CommentsToday is 10/23/2010 and I am at the library in Carbondale, Illinois. The time is approx. 1:00 pm and I am trying catch up with my blogging to let everyone know I am doing fine. My wife is such a blessing to me in a profound way. The Lord empowers her by the Holy Spir it to speak into my life just when I need
it the most. All I can say at this time is, thank you honey, I am truly blessed.
There are many people I want to say thank you too, but I did not bring my notes into the library with me, so I apologize at this moment, I will correct this unfortunate over- site. To the many people here in Illinois that have spoken into my life with encouraging words and gave me support in various ways. THANK YOU.
I will be departing the state of Illinois soon. It has been a long state to cycle thru on bicycle from north to south, but I always look forward to departing because, it is a mile stone for me. The states of Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia,Florida, and then the Florida keys. God is good all the time and His mercy endures forever.
Well, I must get back to the office, which is for me the Highway.
Lowell Out.
Blogging from the Decatur library
Posted by: | CommentsI am in the Decatur, Illinois’s library blogging for the day. I have been having a great time praying without ceasing, that is a very interesting concept. I have been blessed for stepping out in faith and consciously observing myself praying sometimes 80% of each hour daily. !st Thessalonian 5:17says, “pray without ceasing,” and I choose to be a doer of the word. The more I press to pray continuously, it becomes easier and easier. Praise the Lord!!!
My host for the night the Salvation Army here in Decatur. I had the opportunity to visit the Spin City Cycles bike shop, the guys there are fresh and I enjoyed hanging with them for a few minutes. Mike Koprek is the gentleman running the shop, a very nice person.
I was in Bloomington/Normal, Illinois at the Vitesse Cycle Shop, and I had to have major work done on my bike. Chris, hooked me up and my bike is rolling smoothly again. My host in Bloomington was a lovely family, Jerry, Cesca his wife,TJ and Corey. Thank you guys.
