To Haines Jct-To Whitehorse (Yukon Terr.)
Posted by: | CommentsThe trek from Haines Jct. to Whitehorse was 108 miles, and it took me two days to cover the distance. The rest stop was at Otterfalls Cutoff, RV and camping.
The owners gave me the campsite after purchasing a tent. I received calls from Emmitt and Stella, Brian(Kings Table),and my wife on wednesday morning, while waking up in my tent. After cycling up several long inclines, an ambulance driver parked his vehicle next to me, while resting, and said, “do you need an ambulance?”. We both laughed afterwards. The Lord has a sense of humor. “The Holy Spirit Is Here”
Haines Jct
Posted by: | CommentsI left the Cottonwood RV park this morning with another cyclist, who is doing his own long distance trek. We had a spiritual connection from the start. We cycled the 50 plus miles to Haines Jct., Kim Fehr retired Canadian police officer, was my escort into town today. Kim cycled at my pace, which was a support to me in making the trek into Haines.
We celebrated with a cup of coffee on arrival, buy cheap exchanged info, did some shopping, and made preparations to depart. I was blessed by Kim. I was also blessed by Margaret, an original Canadian native. She and I fellowshipped in the anointing, which was beyond my expectation. I am truely blessed. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS HERE.
Father’s Day (Sunday) 2010
Posted by: | CommentsGood morning Holy Spirit. I am blessed to be a Father, thank God for this days blessings. I miss my wife more after talking to her this morning. The signal for the phones were cutting out, and that didn’t help, so I used the situation to praise God and pray for my wife and others. After the conversation with my wife, I was given a gift by my Lord, a family from Delta Jct, was entering the Burwash Landing Resort in front of me. One of the ladies turned and said, “you were in our Delta Meat Co.” That, felt good to be recognized by someone, I had just met a few days prior; since I am now meeting new people throughout the day. Russell & Jeannie Pinkelman, (with company), are the family I am speaking of. We talked with each other while eating lunch, becausewe missed breakfast by approx.
5 min. When I went to pay for my order, the cashier said the couple had taken care of the bill. and then I was given by the couple the exact meat items I purchased on the day I stopped by their company over a week ago. The timing for something like this to happen is the the hand of God, because I sat on the side of the road, approx. 45 min. before intering the town. The way I see it, that’s divine intervention. For the special readers, here is the website for the meat and sausage co. www.deltameat.com. check it out, the product is excellent. Well I must get under way.’ THE HOLY SPIRIT IS HERE
Two Days with no signal for computers
Posted by: | CommentsI am back on the blog. There is so much to say after two days off. I have been blessed even though I have had to cycle some rough landscape. The Lord has given me Hebrews 12:1-2 to meditate on throughout the day to help me stay focused through rain, up and down hills,(often with gravel road), and being tired. The Lord will at times encourage me in the most unexpected ways. One day after climbing a long up-grade, I was resting at the top and wanted to ask the next person coming from the direction
I was heading, to give me some info on how far the next camp ground or lodge was from the hilltop. The next motor home contained believers, the fellowship was heaven sent. The lady asked, “Pastor would you pray for our daughter, Wendy?” The Spirit was present as the three of us stood on a hill in the Yukon Terr. holding hands praying for one another. It doesn’t get any better than that. That’s just one of the many ways, throughout the day the Lord lifts me up when I’m down. PRAISE GOD. I will blog some more later. Spirit Rider-out
Good morning Holy Spirit
Posted by: | CommentsThe morning is overcast, but the Son of God shines bright in my heart. I know It is because of the many, many prayers that are being prayed for “The HOLY SPIRIT IS HERE” ride. I was reading the Believer’s Voice of Victory monthly publication for June, as I read the article by Pastor George Pearson on ‘ “Stand Your Ground” the Lord used it to lift my spirits on this last tough day coming into the Yukon Terr.. He spoke of Paul’s talks on standing in Ephesians 6;10-11. ‘ “Be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides]. Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil.” That is the only section I have time to share with you, but I felt lead to share. God knows the ears that will hear, and the hearts that will receive. BLESSING TO ALL. Spirit Rider, Lowell.
