Grand Forks, North Dakota to Fargo, North Dakota
ByI departed Grand Forks around 8:30 am 0n Monday morning en-route to Fargo, North Dakota. I left the church where I had been staying for the last few days, after saying farewell to Rick, my brother in Christ. The day was over-cast and a cross head wind was my friend for the journey that day. I did not make many miles on that day because of the weather conditions, approx. 35 + miles. I cycled into Hillsboro wet from the rain and located a campground. The manager gave me the camp site at no charge. his name is Mr Olson. Nice name and a nice gentleman.
On Tuesday morning I was off again after breaking camp. The next town I entered was Grandin, and there I stopped at the bank for some direction about a place to eat. Lani Rude the bank manager offered me coffee and gave me the directions to a place to eat. I thank her for her kindness and support.
After leaving Grandin I arrived in Fargo around 3:pm and stopped at North Dakota State University for a few hours to make some contacts. I shared my testimony with Courtney a cashier at the Jitters Coffee Bar, she expressed being a senior
at NDSU. I secured a camp site for the night at the Lindenwood Campground which is a few miles from the Minnesota state line.
Since I have been in the city of Fargo, I had the opportunity to visit two churches, the First Methodist Church for a fellowship dinner and the Salem Evangelical Free Church where I attended a bible study. The group was studying the book of Nehemiah. I was looking for somewhere to hear the word, and the Lord led me to the church and the study. The Lord is good and His mercy endures forever.
Today is Thursday, it has been raining most of the day. I was blessed to have the gentleman that was facilitating the bible study last night, come to my camp site and offer me lunch and fellowship at his home. I am blogging while visiting with Clayton Lindgren my host for today. Many blessing to him and his family in Jesus holy name.
I will cycle out tomorrow, the weather report appears to be in my favor. I encourage you to read the word of God daily, and remember to read James 1:22. Then apply it to what you have read in the Word.
Your brother in Christ. Lowell
